Singapore, as the initiator, said that “In accordance with our objective, we want to expand cooperation with multi-stakeholder actors starting from Brazil, as Brazil is considered as one of the potential actors to cooperate with.” Furthermore, Brazil and Singapore are facing similar issue which is combating cyber-attack. Therefore, this issue is expected to make both Singapore and Brazil build a strong cooperation.
Brazil, as the acceptor, told Reuters that Singapore has great technology to protect the state from cyber-attacks. That situation leads Brazil to cooperate with Singapore by considering that these two states have not established cooperation with each other.
