France and Brazil are signing the MoU towards the partnership of Cryptography in front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Building, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia.

This MoU was made in purpose to start their partnership between two parties, considering that Brazil and France have not made any partnership before. The MoU consists of spreading the use of Cryptography to Brazil which was originally developed by France and agreeing to discuss about cyber countermeasure as soon as possible. The representative of France said that they invite Brazil because they believe that Brazil has the capacity to be a pioneer in Latin America to implement Cryptography.

The representative of Brazil said that they want to adopt Cryptography because this encryption method has proven to be an effective tool in protecting data and decreasing the level of cybercrimes in France. Therefore, Brazil is very open to develop Cryptography in their country in order to improve their cyber security.

France believes that the cyber world is always interconnected and it is better that every state has the same capability of cyber security in order to protect their national security. Brazil hopes that this MoU would intensify the partnership between two parties and Brazil would be the first state to implement and develop Cryptography.
