Germany and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) signed the Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in cyber-infrastructure, development, and gender. The meeting was held in front of Audio Visual, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Parahyangan Catholic University.

Germany used the chance to promote the Platform Industry 4.0 to a wider scale after socializing it to Brazil and Singapore before that. Germany also willing to adopt the IPv6, the media or the internet protocol which controls the use of the internet, which promoted by the ITU. In development, Germany committed to provide Technical Assistance for the ITU’s experts, to develop individual skill. Germany also supports the International norms, promoted by the ITU, in gender equality by hosting an event to socialize the role of women in cyber space, called “International Girls”.
Both parties hoped that by assigning the agreement, it will increase the civil society’s awareness of humanity also to develop the individual skill and create the safe and positive internet environment to contribute to the development.
