[PRESS RELEASE]: “INDIA ENCOURAGES ALL PARTIES TO BE READY FOR THE UPCOMING WORLD SUMMIT ON CYBER GOVERNANCE”

India announced the upcoming World Summit on Cyber Governance will be held on April 22nd and 23rd, 2017 in New Delhi, India. Through this summit, India hopes that all the stakeholders including both state and non-state actors will contribute in producing and creating an effective and efficient policy recommendation throughout the summit. India encouraged all the delegations involved in the summit to have solutions for every kind of problems that we are facing today.

India also hopes that this summit will provide the needed platform to all of the parties to prevent any threats or anything related to something that can harm state’s sovereignty and also the freedom of every actor involved in this meeting. India is ready to enhance further cooperation and to stabilize and develop their cyber environment more. The summit emphasizes that there would be no violations of human rights and against state’s sovereignty, and could be resulted in easier access to the internet so everyone will have equal proportions.

Lastly, through this summit, India is waiting for great ideas, hopes, and common solutions for a better cyberspace. They believe that all the stakeholders could work hand in hand to create a better and more advanced cyberspace, cyberinfrastructure, and cyber security.
