Nowadays, Multinational Corporations (MNCs) have a bigger role that can affect the world in a significant way. With the advancement of technology, MNCs are using the technology more than before. MNCs that have specialty in technology and cyberspace are exposed to cyberattacks. They also feel that cyberattacks can threaten the world’s safety.

Because of these problems, Apple and Oracle signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday, April 7, 2017, that will allow them to do software research and development programs. This effort is done with the hope that they can create a safer cyber space by developing software and employ human resources that are expert in the field. Both parties regretted that civil society these days already have the advanced technology, but some of them are misusing it. Therefore, they have planned to do software research and development project to help people use internet in the right way, so that they can be useful for the cyberspace.


Apple was acting as the initiator for the cooperation between the parties. Oracle believed that Apple is one of the leading corporation in term of technology and Oracle also have a qualified, advanced technology to support the project. The representative said that they could build a good cooperation with each other and they also cooperate with each other in funding this project. The MoU will be valid for five years. Both parties hope that they will build a strong relationship with this and they also hope that they could bring a good impact, not only for one state or region, but also globally.
