ICRC and Google signed the Memorandum of Understanding about preserving human rights under cyberspace by making cooperation on Monday, April 10th, 2017, in front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Building, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia

This agreement is about empowering information sharing related to international humanitarian law and, specifically, this agreement is explaining about how privacy and information sharing should be conducted.

“As the world’s most used search engine, we hope Google would make people all over the world able to access international humanitarian law easily,” said the representative of ICRC.

ICRC hopes that by working together with Google, people around the world would be able to access international humanitarian law easily in the future and it would broaden their knowledge regarding the importance of human rights under cyberspace and how to keep others’ privacy safe.
