Kenya signed the Memorandum of Agreement with Apple on Monday, April 10th, 2017, in front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Building, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia.
As a developing state, Kenya now is in the stage to improve their cyber system, specifically in the cyber infrastructure and cyber security against any kind of cyber attacks. Therefore, the cooperation between both parties aims to strengthen the cybersecurity and to develop the cyber-infrastructure in Kenya to more advanced technology also to expanding Apple markets in Africa. With this cooperation, Apple is willing to contribute to cyber security as well as to enhance the cyber infrastructure in Kenya.
Both parties hope that this cooperation will be carried out effectively and cooperatively in order to achieve good results. Kenya also hopes that the implementation will be going according to this MoU, and this will be a stepping stone to expand more cooperation in the future.
