On Monday, April 17th, 2017, Amazon and Google made a bilateral agreement by signing a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in creating cyber-development on a global scale for the enhancement of cyber security and cyber infrastructure. The signing of he MoU took place in Google’s head office at 1600 Amphiteatre Parkway, Mountain View, Santa Clara County, California, United States.
The cooperation between the two companies aim to minimize the spread of malicious activities in cyberspace, specifically misleading advertising through the misuse of the logo and name of both parties by cooperating in creating a critical security feature and watertight security matrix control. The critical security features also includes their ongoing collaborative project in global partnership initiative on Artificial Intelligence development.
By signing the agreement, both parties are hoping to work together in a good manner as fellow competitor. Furthermore, the two parties have also involved in the Artificial Intelligence so they both hope they can set aside the differences between them and they can enhance the cyber security through Artificial Intelligence.
