Google are holding a multi-stakeholder agreement with Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, United Kingdom, and other parties such as Amazon, Apple, AT&T, Booz Allen, Facebook, Facebook, ICANN, ITU, Microsoft, and Yahoo on Monday, April 17th, 2017 in Rektorat Building, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia.
This MoU was signed by all related parties to set up a collaboration for Global Partnership Initiative on Artificial Intelligence Development (GPIAID) that is initiated by Google and supported by the members of partnership on Artificial Intelligence (except IBM). These project was about to against all action towards cybercrimes and cyber-attacks, applications of the narrow AI technology that may lie outside the field of cyber defense, and develop emerging technologies that is AI in this digital era.
“We would like to set up this collaboration on GPIAID because this is the first multilateral platform and this collaboration is based on partnership on AI,” said the representative of Google.
Google hopes that from this partnership and collaboration, they can pull ideas to develop AI specifically for cyber security, because they acknowledge that cyber hacking, cybercrime, and cyber-attacks are intolerance.
