Memorandum of Understanding was made between Swiss, Indonesia, and ITU regarding Swiss-ITU sponsored Indonesia’s cyber training. The meeting took place in front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Building, Parahyangan Catholic University on Monday, April 17th, 2017. The agreement was made to assist Indonesia in creating national cyber body and cyber-related standards.
By signing the MoU, Swiss and ITU agreed on supporting Indonesia in creating national cyber body, providing experts in order to develop Indonesian cyber infrastructure related to national cyber body and cyber-related standards establishment. In addition to thar, Swiss will provide experts accommodation, the material and technical needs requested by ITU and ITU will also form a committee consisting of Indonesian governmental workers or Indonesian cyber courses students.
Swiss hope that by the signing of the MoU, Indonesia could form Indonesian National Cyber Body. Indonesia also hope that this cooperation will then strengthen the relations between Indonesia and Swiss, and Indonesia and ITU. In the other hand, ITU is looking forward to see the development of Indonesia’s cyber infrastructure and hope that it will be more stable and have clear standards.
