[PRESS RELEASE]: “SWITZERLAND AND TURKEY COOPERATE TO DEVELOP THE HUMAN RESOURCES REGARDING CYBER INFRASTRUCTURE BY ESTABLISH AN EXPERT EXCHANGE”

Turkey and Switzerland have signed the bilateral agreement in front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Building, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia.

The cooperation between two states concern in developing human resources regarding the cyber infrastructure by establishing an exchange in expertises between two states legal agencies, which is Cybercrime Coordination Unit Switzerland (CYCO) and TÜBITAK, to combat any kind of cyber attacks. The expertise from both states will be given a series of training to increase the individual skill or capability in the field of cyber. The exchange will take place for one month, twice a year with ten expertise per period. Both states also committed to afford full respect for human rights according to the international norms and values.

Both parties hope that this cooperation will be beneficial for each other, strengthen the cyber infrastructure system, and develop the relation between them on a larger scale.
