On Monday, April 17th, 2017, Apple and Turkey committed to cooperate by signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Building, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia.
The cooperation between two parties seeks to strengthen the cyber security and enhance the cyber infrastructure in Turkey. Apple willing to contribute in achieving the cooperation purposes whilst expanding its market in Turkey by building the Research and Development Centre also supporting the capacity building in the field of cyber, specifically for the young generation. Apple and Turkey also aim to educate the citizen of Turkey about the danger and impacts of cyber crimes by giving them a socialization and workshop related to cyber security.
Both parties hope that this cooperation will minimalize the cyber attack as well as combat the cyber threats to create a safe and secure cyberspace.
