EWI and Apple has strengthen their relationship through signing a memorandum of understanding regarding the cooperation between both parties in cyberspace on Monday, April 17th, 2017 in front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Building, Parahyangan Catholic University. The two parties discussed about the establishment of a formal and continuous partnership.
The MoU aims to build a formal and continuous partnership in the establishment and application of the international norms, cybersecurity, and responsible behavior on the cyberspace. By signing the MoU, both parties have agreed to cooperate in participating and co-hosting in future cyber summits, and discussing about cyber security and international norms on cyberspace. Both parties will also hold an international workshop and socialization about a safe and secure internet usage to young generations through a project named Youth Congress on Digital Citizenship to raise the youth’s awareness.
Along with the signing of the MoU, Apple will do the funding in cyber security and cyber infrastructure matter and EWI will host the project. Both parties will strengthen the relationship between them specifically on the cyber infrastructure matter.
