A letter of intent was signed between ICRC and Switzerland in establishing a cooperation on promoting human rights and citizen involvement in cyber governance on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 in Rektorat Building, Parahyangan Catholic University. Both parties have acknowledged the importance of citizen involvement and protection of human rights specified in privacy in governing the cyber governance.
By signing the agreement, both parties will establish the cooperation on promoting human rights and cyber governance in cyber governance by having mutual understanding in cooperating on making citizen service center for updating the threats on cyberspace. They also agreed that the letter of indent will function as a cornerstone towards achieving an equally standardized protection, perseverance, and promotions of individual privacy on the cyberspace.
This letter of intent will be a pillar for ICRC to establish law regarding categorization of individual privacy. Switzerland also believes that this letter of intent is comprehensive to be a reference in order to solve privacy and human rights under cyberspace.
