[PRESS RELEASE]: “UNITED KINGDOM AND IETF AGREED TO COLLABORATE IN RAISING AWARENESS OF IPv6”

In front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Building, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia, the United Kingdom and International Engineering Task Force (IETF) agreed to make cooperation by holding a press conference.

Both parties agreed to upgrade the IPv4 into the IPv6 as a safe platform for the internet. IETF will provide the advanced technology for the data encryption, also will help UK to raise the UK citizen awareness about the IPv6. As one of the important actor in enhancing the cyber security, the UK believes by agreed to cooperate with the UK will create a better and safe cyberspace also support the multi-stakeholderism approach.

The UK and IETF hope this will increase the awareness about the IPv6, and develop a more advanced technology in data protection through encryption. This cooperation also expected to create a better internet not only in the UK but also all over the world.
