Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and Apple were signing the Memorandum of Understanding on Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 in front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia.
The MoU is about strengthening cybersecurity and enhancing cyber infrastructure, in order to create a well-integrated and secure cyberspace. Apple hereby agrees to fund a research conducted by IETF that is related to cyber in order to create a strong cybersecurity and infrastructure through its programs.
“We are expanding more cooperation with multinational corporations, especially MNCs that is working on IT sector. We offered them to adopt our system called IPv6 with the intention of simplifying this system to be distributed to the society,” said the representative of IETF.
IETF hopes that this cooperation that would last for five years is going to strengthen our relationship so that we could extend another cooperation in the future.
