[PRESS RELEASE]: “SKYPE IS DEVELOPING COOPERATION WITH SEVERAL MEDIA BY UTILIZING SKYPE’S VIDEO CALL SERVICES IN VARIOUS REAL-TIME COMMUNICATION”

Skype was holding a multilateral meeting with media such as Al-Jazeera, Associated Press, BBC,  FOX, The Hindu, The New York Times, Reuters, Russian News Agency TASS, and Xin Hua on Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 in front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia. This moment was used for signing the Memorandum of Understanding between all parties.

The purpose of this MoU is to establish a mutual understanding among Skype and media to develop a cooperation by utilizing Skype’s video call services in various real-time communication, as it is one of various breakthroughs in technology.

“There is a need for the society to be able to access things immediately and live information from various media. Therefore, we feel that through this cooperation we can provide a secure and reliable network-based real-time communication which can be used in various events,” said the representative of Skype.

Skype hopes that by building this cooperation, it would improve the infrastructure in cyber governance and enhance cyber security in various digital communication.
