Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) held an annual meeting involving its seventeen shareholders on Friday, April 21st, 2017. The meeting was hosted by China and took place in front of Audio Visual Room, Faculty of Social and Political Building, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung Indonesia,

The seventeen shareholder, which include Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, and Uzbekistan agreed to contribute to the development and advancement of cyber infrastructure. The commitment was declared today, by also signing the document of the declaration.

All shareholders believe that the development and advancement of cyber infrastructure are necessary to contribute to the global economic development. Therefore, in order to be able to compete in global market, every state should be able to develop their cyber infrastructure. To support the development, all shareholders of AIIB agreed to finance cyber infrastructure project for the sake of advancement and development to attain prosperity. Also as the multilateral development bank, AIIB will accept loan applications for cyber-infrastructure with the purpose of development.

The declaration hoped to create a better cyber infrastructure for all, also to promote the cyber infrastructure as a focused area under telecommunication fields with high priority.
